Picked Out helps UK shoppers connect their needs with product specifications. We currently cover five dehumidifiers across three brands. We don’t compare the whole market or claim to have tested these machines.

What decides the shortlist?

Your budget, room size and temperature filter the available choices. Your preference for price, lower published sound, lighter weight or app control helps order the remaining models. Every recommendation explains its trade-off. Commission is not an input.

Where the information comes from

We use manufacturer specifications and exact UK retailer listings, with links to the source. Product and offer records were checked 18 October 2026. Guides use these records and linked manufacturer information. They are research-based guidance, not laboratory reviews.

Prices have an expiry

Offers older than seven days are excluded from budget matching. Product pages retain the date of their last recorded price so you can see what was checked. Prices are not live. Final stock, delivery costs, postcode coverage and variants must be confirmed at the retailer.

How retailer links work

The current links are ordinary shop links and earn us no commission. If affiliate links are introduced, we will identify them. A qualifying purchase may then earn a fee from the retailer. We do not process orders or take payment for products.

What we won’t turn into a score

Manufacturers can measure sound, capacity and coverage differently. We show the stated figures and their limits rather than invent an overall performance rating. If our catalogue has no suitable option, we say so.
