Size it around the room and temperature
The litres in the model name describe water extraction under particular conditions, not the tank capacity. A warm, humid test can produce a much larger figure than a cooler home. Compare figures at the same temperature and humidity where available. Manufacturer sound figures may also use different settings or test methods.
Measure the room and check the manufacturer’s sizing advice for your layout. Our quiz only uses verified coverage bands for measured-room answers; missing sizing data is not guessed. Cold rooms may need a different type of machine. Check drainage, tank emptying, carrying weight and ventilation clearance. Persistent damp also needs its underlying cause addressed.
